Following a competitive pitch, alexander MARKETING were appointed by The University of Leeds childcare centre – Bright Beginnings, to develop and launch their new website.

Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre is registered with Ofsted Early Years, who have awarded them an ‘Outstanding’ grade in all aspects. They accommodate up to 168 children aged between 3 months and 5 years.

Bright Beginnings is an award-winning childcare centre based at the University of Leeds. They have been awarded Outstanding at OFSTED, a prestigious award given for outstanding facilities, education standards, etc.

Our task was to redesign their website using a platform that would be easily updated and would present the Nursery in a better way; to uphold their reputation as an Outstanding nursery.

The previous outdated website was difficult to update and didn’t present their facilities in the correct manner. It lacked the brightness and excitement you would expect from a childcare centre. A major redesign was needed.

Our team redesigned and rebuilt the site using WordPress. It can be updated quickly and easily, and managed by their in-house team. They had very specific requirements in terms of the design – it had to showcase their facility appealing to parents, but at the same time appeal to professionals, as they are currently developing a consultancy side to the business.

Marketing Results

Their new website now reflects who Bright Beginnings are – innovative, quality-driven, and excellent. A lot of high-resolution photographs were used to show off their facility. One of the most notable features is their 360 tour, giving everyone a full visual tour of each room, including all facilities, and even their outdoor area. The site is also information-packed and rich in content, and works equally well on all platforms – desktop, tablet and mobile.

Post launch, we provide ongoing technical support and continual further development.

The site was optimised and the SEO campaign is underway. They’re already seeing a steady increase in web traffic and enquiries via their new site.

As for social media, we helped them with the set up with their account, and have provided trainings to their in-house social media team, guiding and support them as and when required. Regular meetings / consultation is provided to help them in their digital marketing efforts.
